ETUDE HOUSE PRECIOUS MINERAL MOIST ANY CUSHION

Hello lovelies, after spending the last couple of days off sick I am now back with another cushion foundation review however this time I have got a Korean cushion foundation for you. If your still wondering what cushion foundations are then check out my previous post on the Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation for further info:

Etude House Mineral Moist Any Cushion

The Etude House Mineral Moist Any Cushion is a 6 in 1 cream foundation which caters towards moisturizing, whitening, tone correcting, wrinkle care, UV protection (SPF 50 / PA++) and also a dewy finish. The cushion is also free from preservatives, oils, waxes, talc or any other chemicals that could irritate the skin and cause break outs.

It comes in a very limited shade range of about only three shades however this is quite common with the cushion foundations in Korea:

  • NO2 - Light Beige
  • W13 - Natural Beige
  • W24 - Honey Beige

Where to buy

I purchased the Etude House Precious Mineral Moist Any Cushion from www.kollectionk.com for about £14.63.

Packaging

The Etude House Precious Mineral Moist Any Cushion comes along in a white clean bulky pact with a mirror and of course a dual air puff. If your familiar with the Lancome Miracle Cushion then you’ll instantly notice how much bulkier the Etude House one is in comparison to the Lancome compact however it still does not take up too much space in your hand bag so it’s not so much of a big deal. I am loving the dual air puff that comes along with the cushion as their non-absorbent which is something I hope Lancome will replace their current puffs with in the very near future.

Formula

I found that this cushion foundation with the help of the dual air puff that I was able to very easily spread and blend it into my skin seamlessly within a matter of an easy 30 seconds. Also the formula has a really nice cooling sensation to it when you apply it onto your skin which is like another added bonus. I do love the scent of this cushion. It actually smells like a really nice powdery fresh kind of scent but it’s not overpowering.

Coverage

You can easily go from a light to a medium coverage depending on how much you apply. It is very easily buildable and it does not look cakey…obviously don’t overdo it otherwise you will definitely look cakey.

In terms on covering scars, redness and blemishes I found that this cushion does not cover those areas in particularly well and requires the assistance of a concealer to completely erase imperfections from the naked eye.

Finish

The finish of this cushion lets off such a beautiful and fresh dewy finish. It definitely feels very high on the moisturizing side of things as it contains rich moisturizing properties.

Durability

The durability of the cushion is not too bad. It lasts for about 4/5 hours and then it requires some touching up
.
Final Thoughts

Overall I love this product. I have combination skin and although this contains really rich moisturizing properties I found that with a bit of setting powder it is good to go. The only issue here is I purchased the darkest shade (W24 Honey Beige) and it is still very light for me so this is something I would never wear without bronzer. I kind of find that I can apply the cushion on top of the Illamasqua Skin Base foundation  and it does not look too bad…what do you think?
