Blogging Tools

I love blogging and even more I love the tools that are involved in the process of it. Here are some of the blogging tools that I love to use:

Blog

Of course the most essential tool when it comes to blogging is the most obvious… your blog. I like to use Google Blogger as I’ve always found it very easy to use and customisable however I haven’t really got to grips with WordPress but I know that a lot of bloggers do use it and love it.

One of the other reasons I like to use Blogger is because they already have some built in web reporting tools which reports back on traffic statistics such as how a user entered your website, location and the browser they were using.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is one of the many great and free tools from Google that reports back on your website statistics allowing you to analyse your website traffic and gives insights on how users use your website and how you can help to ensure that they keep coming back.

Graphic Design

One of my favorite parts to doing a blog post is the part where you take pictures and edit them to make them look super fabulous. Two of my favorite free picture editing tools are PicMonkey and Canva.

Social Media Management

As a blogger you most likely share your content on more than one social networking platform and it’s not always convenient to be in front of your computer all the time whenever you need to post content on your social media however you now don’t even have to be nowhere near your computer or your phone. The buffer app is an excellent online which now allows you to schedule posts that need to be published on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and Google+.

Blog Planner

One of the most important things to a blogging success is organisation. Grab yourself a free blog planner/checklist printable and get on top of your blogging game.

Email Marketing

MailChimp - I’m easily a big fan of MailChimp as it is so easy to create beautiful newsletters in only a matter of seconds and manage your list of subscribers. MailChimp have many different templates that you can choose from or you can design your own newsletter from scratch. That’s not all you can also find reports based on how successful your newsletter was with its intended audience once you’ve sent it out.
Wise Pops - When I want to create a beautiful pop up I turn to Wise Pops. The online tool makes it so easy to create beautiful pop ups for all kinds of purposes and integrate them into your website.

BlogLovin'

A social network for blogs. Bloglovin' is a great place to connect with other bloggers and catch up with their content whilst also sharing yours with the rest of the world.
